Men’s Breakfast– TBD
The monthly men’s breakfast is postponed for now. Our normal spot, the Hen House Cafe in Lebanon, had multiple pipes burst and is closed. The group is trying to find an alternative spot to meet. Talk to Richard if you would like to stay in the know if anything changes! You can email him at jones@psouth.net.
Stations of the Cross during Lent
During Lent, the Stations of the Cross will be offered each Friday evening at 5:30 PM. These in-person church services are a concerted effort of love from both St. George’s (Sanford) and St. David’s (Route One in Kennebunk) to hopefully give us a way to meditate and pray with us through Lent. Please refer to the schedule as to where the services will be held. Carpooling is available to St David’s. Please contact Deacon Jean for more information 781-572-1393 or by email jeanc4853@yahoo.com

Come for community and discussion as we look to deepen our faith. We meet in the chapel/library area off the main hall near the bathroom. Bring your own lunch if you’d like to eat with us!
Three community meals are now at the church
Because of our great relationship with It Takes a Village 207, we will now have even more community meals at the church each week. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 3 pm, York County Shelter Programs will hand out to-go meals in the parking lot. On Wednesday, there will be a meal by ITAV207 and its partner Sweetser inside the Parish Hall also from 2 to 3 pm. We encourage all our members (and others!) to consider how they may help with the meals or other initiatives the group is doing. Please follow ITAV’s Facebook page to see how you can get involved.
We update this page regularly, however, there are other ways to stay in the know! Our weekly email is a great way to receive reminders and notifications about any changes should they arise. You can sign up for that right on the homepage of our website. You can find also us on Facebook at St. George’s Episcopal Church- Sanford, Maine. For those of you who are on Instagram, follow us @stgeorgesanford. There’s even our YouTube page, too!
Opening the Doors to our Community
We welcome AA, NA, Al-Anon, Maine Access Points, Lions Club, National Alliance on Mental Illness, and others into our church to hold regular events. Please note, these are run by outside groups and are identified in italics on the calendar. For more information, click here.
