Opening Our Doors to the Community

Please note, St. George’s does not run these meetings. If you have questions about any of the meetings, you may contact the church so we can connect you with the organizer of the group you’re hoping to connect with.

Three community meals are now at the church

Because of our great relationship with It Takes a Village 207, we will now have even more community meals at the church each week. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 3 pm, York County Shelter Programs will hand out to-go meals in the parking lot. On Wednesday, there will be a meal by ITAV207 and its partner Sweetser inside the Parish Hall also from 2 to 3 pm. We encourage all our members (and others!) to consider how they may help with the meals or other initiatives the group is doing. Please follow ITAV’s Facebook page to see how you can get involved.

Our Deacon Jean facilitates this NAMI Peer Group, but she says it’s more than that! We care about and for one another and encourage each other to succeed in our lives.
